Omnex changed their software 16-bit to 24-bit in October 2014. As a result of this change, existing 16-bit Omnex receivers will not communicate with the updated 24-bit transmitters so the receiver will also need to be replaced as well.
**Note: Newer 24-bit receivers will continue to communicate with 16-bit transmitters. Therefore, if you have a 16-bit receiver that needs to be replaced, you can order a new 24-bit receiver and it will communicate with existing 16-bit transmitters.
All cranes using Omnex wireless receivers are affected. See table 1 on page 2 for more information in the attached bulletin.
