The Docking Station provides power to recharge the internal Li-ion battery on the NexStar remote. The Docking Station also provides a signal as a reminder when the operator forgets the remote when driving away from the job site.
The Docking Station can be mounted in the crane compartment or in the cab where it is convenient.
The attached drawing details the installation. Note: It is recommended that the battery connection is a fused, un-switched feed so the remote is always charged and ready to go.
